Individual Psychotherapy for Adults and Teens
About Me
I have always been driven to understand and support people, and care deeply about helping my clients connect to their inner worlds, experience emotional relief, and move their lives in more fulfilling directions. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario and have been practicing with individual adults and adolescents for 10 years. I work with people experiencing a wide range of challenges including depression, relationship and parenting issues, trauma, anxiety, grief, gender dysphoria, unwanted substance use, impacts of migration and marginalization, and self-harm. My approach
I aim for therapy to be a time outside of the fast flow of life when people can slow down and attend to what is most essential about themselves and their lives. From there, we can begin developing a sense of what needs our attention and what we are working towards. I work to be transparent about this process, openly sharing my thoughts and inviting feedback so that we can tailor therapy to be most helpful and check if we are on the right track. Depending on what works best for each client, I tend to work with person-centred, emotion-focused, mindfulness/compassion-based, internal family systems, somatic, and attachment-based approaches to therapy.
